Bridging all creative arts UC campuses and communities across the University of California and beyond, UC CAAN harnesses creativity as a catalyst for cultural change, turning urgent challenges into collective action and imaginative solutions.

Who we ARE

UC CAAN is led by faculty from across the UC system, with founding leadership at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Our network comprises artists, scientists, designers, and graduate fellows collaborating at the intersection of creativity, research, and climate action, including:
